What we wish for is peace. What we dream about is equality.
What we're given is hate. What we're shown is violence.
What we won't lose is hope.
Women who empower give more than men with power.
To those with hate in their hearts, I tell you it's a weakness. To those with nothing in their hearts, you too perpetuate your surroundings. We're all here on this earth as a collection of cells as living, breathing human beings. Not one of us is an exception to that truth. Excusing hate in whatever form is believing exceptions exist to the most fundamental truth of what it means to be human.
I thought about you dying.
And the black dress I wouldn’t wear to your funeral.
The disease you spread stuck on my skin like dread.
Who are the good ones here? When all we do is take and kill?
The pride you carried with you, I have breathed out of you. You walk as an empty shell of a man. Unknowingly.
Do you ever feel that we're better together?
That our two halves make a whole
Contorting our bodies at night fitting like puzzle pieces
My feet between your legs
Your hand between my thighs
My head under your chin
Together as one
Our two halves that make a whole
